Description of the Gettysburg vacation cabin rental

The cabin is nestled off a private road on a wooded lot of almost 3 acres. Sit on the deck and enjoy a lovely mountain view. Relax inside and enjoy Direct TV.

Do you love the mountains' Do you like to bike, hike, swim, play golf' Are you interested in Civil War history' Tour the historic Gettysburg Battlefield. If his schedule permits, my husband--a retired history teacher--will guide you in learning about this period in our nation's history. This lovely cabin is in the middle of Adams County apple orchard country. Michaux State Park is only 10 minutes away with the Appalachian Trail as well as other hiking trails, biking--both mountain biking and road biking--and swimming and fishing at Fuller Lake and Laurel Lake. Like to golf' Drive 10 minutes to one course, 25 minutes to another. Baltimore is 1 1/2 hours away; Washington, DC is 2 hours away; Lancaster County--Amish country is 1 1/2 hours away; Hershey Park is 1 1/2 hours away. Everything you need for a relaxing and comfortable stay is provided--all linens and cooking utensils as well as a washer/dryer and other updated appliances.

Spent 2 days at the cabin Ideal location to visit Gettysburg .Great people to rent from.If I or anyone I know wishes to visit Gettysburg in the future I will strongly recomend they stay at the cozy cabin

Even though we arrived late, all prepartions were in place for an easy check in. The hosts were very gracious, they even left us a fresh loaf of some of the best cinnamon raison bread we had ever tasted. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking. The garden was nicely kept and we were able to watch some of the vegetables grow. Our stay was extremely pleasant. We enjoyed the country experiece.

We are a family of four (including two toddlers) who really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was very well equipped, comfortable in every respect, and close to the mountains and many activities that kids and adults enjoy. The hosts helped to make our weekend away fully enjoyable! What a lovely and secluded spot! Nestled amongst apple orchards and gorgeous, rustic scenery the cabin provided the perfect place to unwind and enjoy our stay in Gettysburg. The cabin itself is charming. All the comforts of home along with very warm and friendly hosts. The town is delightfully quaint and everyone we met was friendly and helpful. A wonderful small town atmosphere. We stayed for a week, and it just wasn't long enough to enjoy everything that this area has to offer. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a quiet place to stay within easy driving distance of historic Gettysburg. If we are able to return to this beautiful area, we have every intention of staying here again. Thank you for a wonderful week!

We spent a week here at cozy cabin and everything was superb. Barb & Ken were very helpful hosts and everything you could possibly need, they provided. We would recommend this cabin to everyone. Just loved it!

This cabin was wonderful. It was very peaceful and serene and the environment was beautiful. It was great for a weekend getaway from the chaos of daily living. It was nice and little, and very accomodating to my boyfriend and I. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and I will be in touch to rent again.
