Description of the Gold Canyon vacation townhouse rental

Our privately owned, new (built in 2006) single level townhouse is located directly on the picturesque Sidewinder golf course in a gated community with panoramic views of the Sonoran desert and the Superstition Mountains.

This 3 bedroom/2 bath, 1825 square foot townhouse sits in a quiet and luxurious gated community at the base of Dinosaur Mountain. It is decorated in a comfortable, southwestern style and has ceramic tile throughout, with carpet in the bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king-sized bed, large walk-in closet, a full bathroom with a double vanity and separate shower and tub. It has a private entrance to the patio, which looks out onto the 3rd hole of the Sidewinder golf course. The 2nd and 3rd bedrooms are at the other end of the house, providing a nice level of privacy. The kitchen is stocked with all the necessities. There is a separate utility room with a washer and dryer, and a 2 car garage with door opener.

You will be only minutes away from the community center with its heated swimming pool, hot tub and clubhouse. The clubhouse has an exercise room, community room with kitchen and fireplace, and a patio overlooking the golf course with a large BBQ grill.

The Sidewinder golf course is part of the Gold Canyon Golf Resort. The resort also has the Dinosaur Mountain course which has been rated the #1 public course in Arizona multiple times. These 18-hole, championship courses will challenge you while at the same time providing you with awesome views of the surrounding desert and mountains. There are another 5 golf courses nearby plus many other recreational activities such as hiking, horseback riding, boating, Jeep tours and mountain climbing. You're only minutes away from restaurants, coffee shops, health and beauty spas, banks and groceries. Shopping malls, theaters and other entertainment are less than 20 minutes away. The Phoenix International Airport is 45 minutes away.

 Wonderful Place to Stay, March 12, 2008

My husband and I spent January thru March 2008 in this condo and just loved it. It is fully stocked with everything you might need and wonderfully clean! The patio is a good place to chat with golfers as they tee off from the women's tees and a great place to have breakfast, lunch or dinner. The owners are exceptional. We would definitely return here. If you are looking for a special place to stay, this is it! This townhome is exceptionally clean, spacious and warmly decorated. Everything you need is waiting for your arrival. The mountain views are amazing. Our family really enjoyed the heated pool and exercise room. Owners are exceptionally pleasant and easy to work with. We loved our 30 day stay and would love to return!

This is a great townhouse - very clean, bright, spacious. Included everything we needed to make our stay enjoyable - made us feel right at home. Scenery is spectacular - golf course out the patio door, Dinosaur Mtn nearby. Pool and gym facility, walking trails nearby. Owners great to deal with - hope to get back very soon!
