Description of the Naples vacation home rental

Gulf-Front and facing west with glorious sunset views. Watch the Dolphin frolic and the Manatee swim by your own private dock. Pick shells from your own private beach. Watch the Osprey feed their young from your own lanai. It doesn't get any better than this! This incredible location is like none you will ever see in your lifetime. The expansive lanai has a large heated pool and a complete living area complete with wet bar, a granite eating area and bar with seating for 9 bar stools. There are sky lights throughout the lanai and an open and bright feel. 2 sofas, and a table set for 6 chairs, loungers, and end tables. Going inside through french doors there is an open floor plan with great room with comfy sofas and fully equipped gourmet kitchen with granite breakfast bar that seats 6, 3 TV's, DVD'S,ETC. Spacious bedrooms are queen bedded and the connecting baths have glass enclosed showers and separate tubs. There is a separate laundry room also. Going back outside there is an outside heated shower. A stone fence surrounds the property for your added privacy. The front yard, road side, is lushly planted with gardenia trees, mango trees, palms and several different flowering bushes. You are surrounded by sandy beach islands that have hundreds of different kinds of birds on them. There is a huge L shaped dock with snook lights all along the end of the dock to attract fish. The professional fishermen say this is the best fishing of all the 10,000 islands. Truly a unique paradise. A dream vacation to wind down and relax. You are 5 miles from Marco Island and 10 miles south of Naples and its many golf courses. You can walk to 4 different inexpensive restaurants, all of them on the water. 3 of them have tiki bars and nightly entertainment. Partial week sometimes available in the off season and non holiday times. min 3 nights. Slightly higher rents during holiday times.

• Deposits: 500 dollars to hold date, 60 days prior 1/2 of rent plus 10% tax, 30 days prior full amount. At time of occupancy the 500 turns into a security deposit and is refunded within 2 weeks of vacating property if no damage or extra cleaning expense.
   
• Other Fees: extra cleaning, if required, $25.an hr, tax 10% Small dog allowed, small surcharge and an additional 300 deposit. No cats allowed.

We stayed here for a week in early June 2006. By the end we didn't want to leave. The accommodations were spacious and luxurious, esp. with the lanai swimming pool, outside dining, screened back porch & access to the private docks. The weather was perfect & the setting was spectacular with views of the mangrove islands across the way, glorious sunsets, many birds such as pelicans, egrets, & osprey, and many sightings of dolphin and manatee, some of them swimming & playing quite close to our dock. If you like to fish, this is your place. We fished from the dock every night under the snook lights and caught many kinds of fish, including snook, grouper, jack cravaille, spanish mackeral, spadefish, & mangrove snappers. (Tip: Jig straight down with 1/4 oz silver Kastmaster or with a 3/8 oz Old Pro pink jig. For snook or grouper, use LARGE chunk of FRESH ladyfish on a sliding sinker rig. I caught a 25-lb snook using this bait on our last night right behind the little dock, and with another chunk hooked, fought & lost an 80-lb goliath grouper.) the kitchen is excellent and an outdoor grill was available. Also, there are several good restaurants nearby, including the Pelican Bend for great hamburgers & beer, etc, which we highly recommend. Our landlords the McCarty's were perfect hosts & were accommodating and responsive to all our needs. In sum: GREAT vacation rental; we can't wait to go back.
