SEASCAPE is our escape from the world. Our ground floor, corner two bedroom, two bath condominium is located directly on Half Moon Bay’s beach. At almost fifteen-hundred square feet, it is larger than most 2/2 condos in the area and has a very open floor plan. As it is our 2nd home, we have over the years, completely upgraded it to be perfect for us and our discerning guests. Seascape is built with the best of Mexican craftsmanship using American/European materials and standards. It contains a combination of amenities that you won’t find in any other condo in the area, making SeaScape the standard for combined luxury and comfort.
Some unique features of Seascape include: the best quality windows/door systems obtainable: minimizing heat, sound and storm impact, also providing solid security, state-of-the-art electrical outlets with direct USB charge ports, high quality kitchenware, blackout curtains, multi-room separable stereo system, custom built-in cabinetry with drawers throughout, underbed luggage storage, and decorative security ironwork.
Seascape is also environmentally friendly with energy efficient appliances, soft LED lighting, non-toxic paint, and non-polluting cleaning and paper products. We are fully licensed and permitted and exceed all safety requirements.
Everything is provided for a quiet, relaxing but fulfilling vacation, including FREE WIFI, FREE parking, PRIVATE beach loungers and chairs, FULL maid service, UNLIMITED bottled water, FULL AC, English based satellite, SMART TV with Netflix, even a smart workspace; and of course great linens, beds, and bath products.
As a ground floor, corner unit, Seascape provides offers the utmost in Caribbean charm and comfort. Seascape is located in the La Sirena Condominium complex, considered by many the best location on Half Moon Bay. We are located on the north end, our beach faces southwest allowing us the very best sunset views. We have a double beach lot, along with the largest pool (with a laplane) and lush tropical gardens.
The condominium which is nestled between the gardens and the beach, has floor-to-ceiling windows, proving excellent air flow through. This provides expansive views to the beach and bay, and along with the extra tall ceilings create an extra sense of spaciousness to the already large open design. As a second living area, the beach-side covered patio is fully screened and in addition to its comfortable seating has a stunning sea-life wall mural of Half Moon Bay. Just step outside to the lawn area with your own PRIVATE BEACH LOUNGERS and you are on the beach.
You know you've reached SeaScape just by it's entrance which has a custom stained glass transom depicting its name. Stepping inside, you are immediately transfixed by the FULL view of Half Moon Bay and our beach. The living and dining areas are designed for maximum viewing and living pleasure towards this view.
Throughout the condo special touches abound depicting the best of local materials and craftsmanship: stained glass, tropical mahogany cabinetry, hand painted Talavera ceramics, Mexican handblown glass, and sustainable local hardwood furniture.
There are two bedrooms with king sized beds. Both bedrooms have orthopedic mattresses with supportive padding, combined with high count Egyptian cotton linens and multiple pillow types provide the most comfortable sleeping in ALL OF AKUMAL. The master bedroom is done in a contemporary Caribbean color scheme and have mahogany closets, with built-in drawer cabinets. The attached spa master bathroom is done in local marbles, natural sea glass and shell has a custom mahogany vanity with plenty of drawers and space.
The guest bedroom’s headboard is custom crafted of exotic wood tiles from antique ship wrecks; and a hand carved mahogany dresser. It has a private patio and seating looking into our expansive gardens. The second bathroom boasts an onyx chunk stone sink, handmade tiles, and local marble walls and floor. All rooms have large ceiling fans including the baths. For additional comfort though, A/C is available throughout the condo.
The kitchen has custom made Mexican mahogany cabinetry with plenty of drawers and cabinets. The expanded countertops with cut stone backsplashes, full size appliances and double sink provide convenience and space for cooking and bartending at the same time! Of course, SeaScape's kitchen is well outfitted for all types of entertaining.
Opposite the beach in the courtyard, beautiful gardens surround a large pool that includes a lap lane. It provides a shady lush contrast to the surf and beach. As a professional landscape designer, the gardens are my passion, so over the years, we’ve transformed the garden areas with many unique plants of the region, including orchids and citrus trees. It’s truly beautiful.
As you will see, we built Seascape for ourselves, and spend a lot of time there. We also have repeat guests that just call up/text and book. Akumal is sixty miles south of Cancun International Airport, south on the four lane, newly renovated highway 307. Half Moon Bay (HMB), we are located, is considered the 'original' Akumal, along with Akumal Bay. HMB, now called 'North Akumal' is where most of the beach front houses and small condo complexes are; and is a designated ecological zone, therefore it is very low density. While you are close to everything; it is very private and quieter. We are a quiet, laid-back area focused on our beautiful bay and beaches, snorkeling and pristine diving. Close by are Mayan ruins, golf, nature parks, cenotes, even active nightlife. This truly is the perfect place to create lifetime memories!
